December Yard of the Month

Yard of the Month for December is awarded to Chris and Laurie Burchall. Their enchanting light display makes you feel like you’re at the North Pole.  You may remember the Burchalls finishing first two years ago.

Finishing second is the home of Andrew and Jamie Visocan at 8404 Waynesboro.  The Visocans are no strangers to top honors having finished in first place July of this year.

Third place goes to Gary and Margaret Wilcox of 2605 Meadow Star. We loved the creative wreath-like lighting of the oval window.

Congratulations to the homeowners and thanks to Larry Deckard, Jen Magee and Paul Martin  who served on the judging panel.

The Holidays are again upon us!  To celebrate another great year at Alyson Pond, we are inviting everyone to decorate their homes. Feel free to be festive and share the joy of the season with your neighbors.

The Architectural Committee has decided that the best decorated house will be recognized as December Yard of the Month.

We will suspend our usual judging categories of green lawn, pruned shrubs, seasonal flowers and mulched beds for bright lights, originality, color, whimsy, classical elegance…you name it. Bring your ‘A’ game and delight us all.

Judging will be performed Friday evening, December 14, 2012.  Yard of the Month will be awarded the following day.
